
Alison Pridham.
Alison Pridham is an Associate Lawyer at Smith Immigration Law, where she practices exclusively in immigration and refugee law. Since 2019, Alison has focused her legal career on complex refugee litigation, humanitarian and compassionate applications, pre-removal risk assessments, and criminal inadmissibility matters. She regularly represents clients facing removal from Canada and defends those navigating the intersection of immigration and criminal law.
Before joining Smith Immigration Law, Alison practiced at the Refugee Law Office at Legal Aid Ontario, where she developed a strong reputation for her client-centered advocacy and litigation skills.
Alison earned her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia, where she distinguished herself through her work at the Immigration and Refugee Legal Clinic and as a volunteer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She was awarded the Honourable Thomas A. Dohm QC Prize in Immigration Law in recognition of her academic excellence and commitment to the field.
Alison is known for her compassionate and strategic approach. She works closely with each client to ensure they feel heard, informed, and empowered throughout the legal process.
